The DWFitness Programme

I offer a range of drop-in classes throughout the week on Zoom. Take a look at the dates and times below and sign up to what you like! You can book your space via my website and these are purchased on a class-by-class basis.

I also offer a Functional Core Course. This is a specially designed fitness programme which progresses you over a 5-6 week period. As this course is progressional, a commitment to the entire block is required.

Functional Core Course

​

  • There are two Functional Core Courses, one on Tuesdays and the other on Thursdays. You can book either or both.

  • Class starts with challenging cardio, you work to your own level...but no slacking!

  • Next is the core strength section, the main goal of which is to strengthen the core muscles of the pelvis, deep abdominals, lower back, and hips, to train them to work as a balanced stable unit.

  • The class ends with the stretch section.

  • This is a progressive course, and therefore requires booking the full block of classes. 

  • Essential equipment: a mat, hand weights of 1kg or 1.5kg, and ankle weights of 1kg or 1.5Kg.

  • Optional equipment: a Swiss ball, a foam roller, and 2kg hand weights, as I will offer certain exercises using these.

    • If you don’t have these items, I’ll also be providing alternative exercises at the same time.

  • Spaces are limited for this course

BarreConcept

 

  • The essence of this class is alignment, technique, posture, sculpting, and stretching.  It’s a challenging low impact workout.

  • There’s no cardio element so I recommend for a balanced fitness program, that you include cardio in your program.

  • Essential equipment: a chair and a mat.

  • Additional optional equipment: 1kg or 1.5kg hand weights.

Pilates

 

  • Pilates is a sequence of exercises created by Joseph H Pilates. The aim is to combine musculoskeletal performance, strength, and flexibility.

  • The focus is core strength and stability, to produce strong, lean muscle.

  • Equipment: mat, hand weights (1kg), pilates circle if you have one
